The CR265 also is the biggest you can go on the stock casting for 2002-2007 engines. On those years the only way a CR265 can be done reliably without sleeving is by boring the cylinder off-set to the intake side. That reduces the amount of material removed from the exhaust port side and greatly improves reliability. That trick is something we figured out in 1999 on the Honda 125's and in 2001 found we had to do it to the 250's as well.
